You can see me live paint at many clubs in downtown San Diego, CA. I'm at Landlord Jim's (1546 Broadway) the second Thursday every month--easily the coolest joint in Bland..er..San Diego.
FEBRUARY 2008
5TH--"Bar Basic" (410 10th Ave. San Diego, CA) Art show with Alex Julian, Mofo, and myself. I will be--and maybe the others--live painting. Show starts at 7pm...Going to see if they'll play the directors cut of "Das Boot" on the huge video wall--thanks for that x-mas present Tom!
JANUARY 2008
13th--"Kava Lounge"(2812 Kettner Blvd, San Diego)--Live painting along side some pretty dark dj's (music wise, not skin color). 9pm til close...and shit, must be a cool show if it's sponsored by an energy drink that carries the name "Who's Your Daddy?"...umm...yeah...what the fuck is this world coming to?

6th?(could change)--The LAST ARTSHOW AT LANDLORD JIM'S!! Yes, yes, kiddies, the power's that be decided that City College needs to knock down a cultural icon in order to expand their crappy second rate community college. This will be themed "The People of Landlord Jim's" and should be a pretty powerful show. I'll update this when I get more details.
18th--Bar Basic (410 10th Ave, Downtown San Diego) Live painting and art. Show starts at 7pm and goes until whenever. Music by Johnny Tran and Matt Schugar. Killer pizza as well...
NOVEMBER 2007
6th--"Bar Basic" (410 10th Ave, Downtown San Diego)--This is the preview show for the Pink Party on the 17th, an all out creative event to benefit Breast Cancer Awarenes. 17th--"The Pink Party" (2191 Main Street, San Diego, CA--just south of the Coronado Bridge in a huge warehouse) This event starts at 4pm and goes until 4am. The best of the best in San Diego art, music by Soul in the Machine, and a full fashion show as well. Details on everything at www.pinkpartysd.com
20th--"Bar Basic" (410 10th ave. San Diego, CA)--Live painting by myself from 7pm until close.
30th--"Voz Alta" (1544 Broadway San Diego, CA)--next to Landlord Jim's)--Live painting by myself as well as art from Taoer, GZ, Matt Maquire, Ivery Turner, and Sam Hitt. Starts at 7pm, and I'm sure we'll end up at the bar next door afterwards.
OCTOBER 2007:--
13th--"Aubergine" (500 4th ave, Downtown San Diego)--This is the "Art in Motion" event featuring my live painting, as well as live tattoos, airbrushing, artshow, fire dancing, body painting, and hair and make up. This is a rare event for San Diego, so please stop on by and see some of the coolest art and performance in the city. Club info line: 619.232.8100.
30th--"Bar Basic" (410 10th Ave, Downtown San Diego)--This is the Devil's Night show for Basic Tuesdays, a weekly event featuring fashion, art, DJ's and booze. I'll be displaying artwork as well as live painting. Club info line: 619.531.8869.
AUGUST 2007:--
9th--"Landlord Jim's" (1546 Broadway, Downtown San Diego)--one of my last show's at this club--they've been given their notice to vacate due to the local shitty community college wanting the land for something useless like a parking lot. Yay for second rate education destroying a tax revenue generating and art promoting club. Show starts at 9pm.
JULY 2007:--July events are coordinated with the promotion of my new book "MESS" out in Sept. Contests for free artwork etc. and pre-order information are available at these events...
12th--"Landlord Jim's" (1546 Broadway)-Sean Dietrich art opening reception from 8pm - close. I've got the whole bar this time kiddies. I'll be live painting and, as well, showing off a tone of art spanning all of my books and my career. I'll be giving away some free artwork and there will be plenty of information of pre-ordering my new book "MESS". There'll be killer drinks made by San Diego's finest alcoholics...er...bartenders and DJ Ratty will be spinning. See you there!
14th--Honey Bee Hive (1409 C St, San Diego, CA)--this is the return of the Vinyl Elements Crew who throw some of the most killer shows/parties in this conservative town. The DJ line up is amazing and Billy Martinez of NEKO press will be joining me in live painting at this event. Two rooms with DJ's spinning simultaneously.
26th - 29th--Landlord Jim's live painting for the San Diego Comic Con! Four nights in a row I'll be live painting at the best bar in SD. It also coincides with my artshow at the bar and with the comic con going on. Pics from the show will be posted below...
