January 12, 2009--Oh, it's a new year...I was so busy I didn't notice, tons of new paintings, upcoming conventions, and the Nazi and the Rabbit is so close I can taste the carrot and Zyklon B pudding...

So first up the Nazi and the Rabbit--a new book from artist Sean Dietrich and writer Richard A. Webster is so very very close to beginning. The first 100 pages are on the way this week and after I read through them and solidify some ideas about the drawings and the format, it's off and running. I will post a major update on this site when everything is signed and sealed.

Convention Season is upon us once again, and I should be at several shows this year. I will be attending the Emerald City Comic Con April 4-5 in Seattle at the Rorschach Ent. booth. Other shows include the San Diego Comic Con, The SPX, and the Baltimore Comic Con. Along with these shows I will be live painting at various night clubs in the cities. Updates to follow.

Ok, now, onto some new artwork. I've been painting 5 nights a week at different events and here are some of the fruits of my labor....

aAs some of you know my best friend Matt Lane died in Sept. from a heroin overdose in New Orleans. In honor of him, and because it's the best way I know how to deal with deal, I did a series of paintings based off this tragedy...

Now a few commissions that I did of characters from the Valiant Comics universe...

and an interpretation of an old Spider Man cover (yes, I drew Spider Man...keep the hate mail to yourself...lol)

AAllllllright..on to the nasty shit...as you may or may not know, I'm working on a new book with my friend called the Nazi and the Rabbit. This will be a sort of novel/comic hybrid. Richard Webster is the writer--an award winning journalist that lived through Katrina and all the bullshit that happened afterwards in that city.More info as I find out as we finish the story and start artwork, but this is turning out to be probably the most f'ked up story I've worked on..it might even make 'industriacide' look like a Smurf's comic book...so for now, here's some preview art of the characters!

Ok, so last week was the San Diego Comic Con International for which I didn't promote on this site that I'd be there so oops! Anyways, I had a booth in the small press section. I was doing sketches, had books, shirts, original paintings, and prints for sale. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi, got a sketch, made me draw a shark, or was just a fun person to be around--I really do appreciate it. That fucking convention is so long and will wear you out so those who helped me through it I'm going to do a big shot of Jameson now for you! Below are some pictures from the show...I didn't leave the booth much to walk around as I was too busy with sketches, but a few memorable moments included meeting Alex Pardee, Andrew Bawidamann, the shark girls, getting 2 hours of sleep on Friday night, the live painting that same night at my buddy's store Feelit and a slew of other things! Now onto some pics...most are from the booth, but some are from the live painting event at Feelit, 909 E. St., San Diego, CA 92101.

June 14, 2008--Asahi Beer feature, The Nazi and the Rabbit, San Diego Comic Con, Pre-Order 'Hansel and Gretel',

First up, sorry for the delay in an update, I've been busy as all hell getting ready for the San Diego Comic Con next month, as well as handling the usual day to day art projects. But there's a lot going on...tons of new stuff coming out, so on to the news....

I am now a featured artist on the Asahi Beer website. They are trying to get involved in the arts and so I've been called on to produce a piece of artwork for their site. You can see it at www.followtherisingsun.com--they haven't officially announced it yet, but I saw it was up, so what the hell, I'll promote the link.

Next up, July 23-27 is the San Diego Comic Con. I will be there in the small press section and my publisher, Rorschach Ent. will have a booth as well. I will have my comics, shirts, stickers, original art and paintings and for the first year, I'll be doing sketches. Also, I'll post up the details, but I will be involved in some killer after parties.

Last, but not least, you can pre order the new kids book I illustrated, a remake of the classic fairy tale, "Hansel and Gretel", written by Donald Lemke and published by Stone Arch Books--pre-orders are being taken right now through the Barnes and Noble site. Here's the cover of the book.....

April 15, 2008--New tenbills.com shirts, live events...

Hot off the screenprinting machine is a new shirt for the TenBills.com series "Robot Rebellion"...The shirt comes in three different colors.

Just a quick update on some events coming up. Next Monday I'll be at Aubergine (500 4th Ave, San Diego, CA) for the Fortune Industries 3yr Anniversary Party. I'll be completing two live paintings in 2 hours and then they will be autioned off for charity to benefit kids. Here's the flyer for that....

April 6, 2008--New Book, New Shirts, Convention Season is about to begin, Some new art, and Tons of new shows!

Lots going on in the past few months--haven't had a chance to update--and tons more to come. I've got a new art book coming out, Bubble From Atlantis is still in the works, the comic convention season is upon us, lots of new artshows coming up, and some new art and shirts for you....

First up, The comic convention season for myself has begun, starting with the Emerald City Comic Con which is May 10th and 11th at the Seattle Convention Center. I'll be there at the Rorschach Entertainment booth selling my wares, doing sketches and acting like a complete fool...just for you! I'll have a new art book coming out featuring most of the artwork from the upcoming "Bubbles From Atlantis" book by Rich Webster, and some new paintings. I'll also have a new, limited edition print for the comic con honoring the Seattle landmark the wonderfully annoying Space Needle, done up Ernie style..here's the cover featuring one of my favorite paintings, and the black and white of the print (colors on the way, Mike Garcia is working up the colors for the print)...

Also, everything has been squared away for the San Diego Comic Con in July--more on that as it gets closer. We'll have two booths this year, one for myself in the Small Press section and the Rorschach Booth in the indie publisher section. Also, this year, along with several promoters and friends of mine, we will be throwinig some killer parties to give you convention goers something to do after the show besides spend 12 bucks on a Budweiser at some shitty, trendy club.

Next up, speaking of shows etc. I've updated the "Live" page with some upcoming shows. I've got shows at Bar Basic on May 13th, which is a dark art show (for some reason they invited me...who knows!), another show at this killer loft downtown on the 24th of April, and several shows planned for the San Diego Comic Con--more details on those shows as it grows nearer to the convention.

Ok, time for some new artwork...I've been super busy lately on a ton of projects, some of which I can't let you in on just yet due to NDA's and all that legal shit, but when I can, you'll be the first to know. But there are some new projects that I've just completed that I can show off--first are a couple of projects for some new music releases from Choking Metropolis and Rachel Haywire....

Choking Metropolis CD Cover

Rachel Haywire--Experiment Haywire Promo Poster

Also, some new artwork from "Bubbles from Atlantis", the book by pill popping, alcoholic author Richard A. Webster, that I illustrated--this is the cover for the book....

And speaking of pill popping, drinking and really fucking cool art and writing, Rich and I are teaming up on another book called "The Nazi and the Bunny", and adult children's book/comic hybrid thing. It's currently being written and will debut as a web comic until all of the artwork is done and then at that point we'll look into publishig it. Believe me, this is one fucked up book, but you'll love it! Bunnies with STD's, drunken Fascists, New Orleans, the Chicken Man, and many other characters will haunt the pags of this book. For now, check out the promo painting for the book I did live at Bar Basic....

Last, but most definitely not least, I have a new shirt out through Tenbills.com called "At a Loss for Words"--a nice little shirt about a man who can find the words so he blows off his jaw. Here's a sample image...

So lots going on, and more to come. I'll be updating over the next few weeks with new art, info on the upcoming shows and conventions and anything else I feel is worthy to tell you. Enjoy the art and do a shot of whiskey for Pete's sake....you're really getting on the nerves of the people around you.

Feb 5, 2008--I'm live on Fox News San Diego and Happy Mardi Gras!

Yesterday, Feb 4th, I was invited to be one of four featured artists on the San Diego Fox News Morning show. So over the course of four hours Alex Julian, MOFO, Curtis, and myself slung some paint and showed San Diego what real art was all about in honor and promotion of Bar Basic's Tuesday night weekly art shows. The show tonight should be huge! Not only the promotion from the news, but it is Mardi Gras as well, and if you've actually taken part in that abortion San Diego calls it's "Mardi Gras" celebration, then you'll definitely want to find somewhere else to be...Bar Basic (410 10th Ave) is where it's happening! From 7pm on you'll be entertained, and I mean that in the most serious awe inspiring version of the word, by art, music, fashion and stiff drinks. So stop on by and let's do a shot of whiskey in honor of those who fell in the name of the greatest city in the south...New Orleans!

January 31, 2008--New Forums!!

Here's a thumb of the design, click for larger view, and thanks!...

January 12, 2008-- New books and prints, live events, new artwork uploaded, the death of Landlord Jim's, Bubbles From Atlantis--the truth about post Katrina New Orleans preview illustrations, San Diego Comic Con and...um...Happy New Year!

Alright, let's go, we've got much to talk about before the bombings start and we've got to black out the house..

First up, as of last Saturday, January 5th, 2008, Landlord Jim's is no more! This cultural icon of booze and art has had to shut their doors and not only do I not have a cool place to drink in San Diego where I don't have to hang out with shitheads, I've ended my run as a live painter at the coolest place to drink in San Diego. I'll be painting at other venues, but none will ever compare to the atmosphere and general vibe that Jim's provided. 24 oz cans of beer served to you in a brown paper bags with the Virgin Mary printed on them, and double barreled shots of whiskey are just some of the wonders that await. As well, Jim's did more for the arts in San Diego than any stuck up gallery with their shitty Kincaid paintings and pet portraits. I had the honor of displaying my artwork along side some of the sickest and most talented underground artists in the city. To Sarah and the staff at Landlord's, I thank you and wish you the best of luck with whatever you do next, and whoever has the pleasure of being around you when you do it.

"BUBBLES FROM ATLANTIS"--The book offering the truth about post Katrina New Orleans is coming along nicely--a publishing date should be dec decided soon. Rich Webster, a long time friend and survivor of the whore that was Katrina, has put together one of the most important books about life after the storm. Told from an insider's perspective, he lets us into the mind of those who stayed to rebuild one of the most glorious and misunderstood cities in America. The drug and alcohol infected, the suicidal, the general depression and the weight of not knowing what's next, and loss of hope hold our hands and take us through the twisted maze of dead bodies and uprooted houses that used to be New Orleans before Katrina. Here's a Preview of the illustrations I'm providing for the book (Click For Larger Image)...

NEW ARTWORK UPLOADED--I've uploaded new artwork in the, you guessed right Commander Obvious, in the ART section. I've added some more recent Live Paintings and more Illustrations from the "Bubbles From Atlantis" book. More on the way..

NEW LIVE EVENTS--Click on the "LIVE" section and check out who I'll be bugging this month and in Feb. Tomorrow I'll be at the Kava Lounge for some live painting and some of that Hippity Hop music. Next Thursday is a private showing with a few other artists--invite only, email me at sean@industriacide.com if you are a buyer or someone involved in promoting the arts. Then Feb. 5th it's back to Bar Basic for live art and a showing with Alex Julian and Mofo.

THIS YEAR'S CONVENTION SEASON IS BEGINNING!--First up for me is the Emerald City Comic Con in May. This year I'll have a new art/sketch book out featuring full color cover paintings and 16 interior pages of "other than comic art" that I've been working on over the last year. I'll also have a new print out featuring an old friend of mine and yours, Ernie, that delightful bear from 'industriacide' that loves to shoot up!...and he'll be doing it Seattle style with the Space Needle. AND THE BIG NEWS IS...

RORSCHACH ENT. AND MYSELF FINALLY, AFTER TWO YEARS, GOT A BOOTH AT THIS YEAR'S SAN DIEGO COMIC CON! I'll update when it gets closer to July, but I'll be there along with my friends from New Orleans and my publisher all the way from Seattle to infect your mind or your genitals with some kick ass art and comics.

Other than that, I'm off to the drawing board to finish up some secret projects I'm not allowed to speak of, so Happy New Year and hopefully too many of you don't have a sucky one!

November 20, 2007--"Industriacide", "Fervor" and "Mess" now available to DOWNLOAD!!

That's right, for those who's store doesn't carry my books, the international crowd where shipping might be a bit much and those who can't wait, you can now download all my books "industriacide", "Fevor", and "MeSs" HERE!! The books come in a high quality PDF format for your reading enjoyment!

November 16, 2007--New books, The Truth About New Orleans, 4 new art shows, and Clive Barker, what a swell guy...

Tons of new Live Painting shows upcoming...

--Tomorrow Nov 17th is the Pink Party (pinkpartysd.com for details)--this is a huge charity event to benefit breast cancer awareness. I'll be displaying artwork along with live painting. There will also be art from some of San Diego's finest including Tasso and Alex Julian, music by Soul in the Machine and a full bar and fashion show. Nothing like drunk artists, musicians and models under the same roof--someone's gonna go home crying ha! I also have other shows coming up at Bar Basic, Landlord Jim's and Voz Alta so please check out the "LIVE" section of my site.

The big news is that I just signed on to do the illustrations for my buddy Rich's upcoming novel "Bubbles from Atlantis"--this book is a first person, insiders account to the shear terror and horrors of living in post Katrina New Orleans. This is not what Fox news reported or any of the other bullshit news stations. This is the real deal from a local journalist/citizen of New Orleans who came back into the city to live just a week after the storm. This is the new generation Hunter Thompson/Ralph Steadman collaboration between a writer and an artist who understands...The book is slated to release sometime in Jan/Feb. I'll update with details. I'll be posting some of the artwork soon.

Also, on a side note, I got to meet Clive Barker last night at a book signing. Very cool guy--had him sign his new book Mister B. Gone and also a collection of Sam Kieth artwork and a script for a Hellraiser movie that never got made.

October 17, 2007--New Shirts and Stickers!!! Bar Basic Live Painting on the 30th!!

First up the Bar Basic show on the 30th is fast approaching. Live painting and new artwork on display from myself and a few others. Starts at 7pm and goes until close. Next up, I finally got around to releasing some new T-SHIRTS and STICKERS!! The shirts are black with a red and white design. They come in Large and X-Large. I'm looking into tanks/baby dolls for the ladies as well. Also I printed up some SD logo stickers--free with the purchase of a shirt. Shirts are 10 bucks. Details on payment etc are on this ad...

PLEASE ADD $3 FOR SHIPPING

(If you have any questions feel free to drop an email to sean@industriacide.com)

Here's the flyer Alex Julian did for the show--yes, it looks as though I am a large, goggle wearing penis!

September 22, 2007--New projects I can't tell you about, new deals I also can't tell you about, Seattle store signing, Stumptown Comics, and New Orleans re-cap...

Lots to tell so let's get into it...

First off, my new book "MESS" hits stores this Wednesday the 26th! You'll love it so don't deny your local comic guy a couple of bucks to make him smile.

Tons of new projects to speak of--I'm currently working with Stone Arch Books on a new children's book due out Fall of 2008. That's about all I'm aloud to say so stay tuned.

July 31, 2007--umm...yeah...too much whiskey, San Diego Comic Con, MESS orders are in unless you back order/order online etc., live painting events etc...

Wow, now that the four day orgy of pop culture, girls in skimpy clothing and gentlemen who no not what soap is, is over...whew! I met some cool fuckin' people at the live painting events--here's to you, and of course had my head so far in a bottle of Jameson, I obviously came up with some cool artwork--here's a sample of an eastern block painting I did....

There's some new photos in the live section as well of the action at Landlord Jim's during the events. Thanks so much to Sarah, Mitch, Makenzie, Brandon, and Ryan for being a picture perfect dysfuntional family of bartenders, door pee-pull, and owners and shit....good job....not much to say, but thanks for getting me drunk!

MESS IS OFFICIALLY DONE WITH THE JULY PREVIEWS AND IS ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH BACK ORDER, which is cool, might cause your local store a bit of turmoil, but hey, it's a cool book! See you in September when it releases!!!!

July 15, 2007--Art opening recap, Honey Beehive thanks, and first review of "MESS"!

Thursday's art opening = very cool, lots of whiskey and tons of art! Thanks to all who showed up to watch me paint, comment on the artwork, and do shots of whiskey with me (thanks Makenzie!) The artwork is up for about a month, until Aug 9th to run along with the San Diego Comic Con, so if you're in town for that, stop on by!

Thanks to Richie and the Honey Beehive for a killer live painting night last night! I finished the Wehrmacht girl painting I was working on--will be posting that online when I get a picture of it. The music was amazing and it was nice to paint at the Hive again.

FIRST REVIEW OF "MESS" IS UP! 4 OUT OF 5 STARS!!!!! YOU CAN READ IT HERE

Other than that, we are about half way through promoting "MESS" for the month of July. Again, thanks to all of you that have supported my live shows, the comic stores that have pre-ordered the book, and to those who have dropped me some pretty strange, but cool emails letting me know your opinions on the art and books. I'll be drawing the winner for the free artwork the first or second week of August--whenever we get the numbers back from Diamond.

I'm also setting up store signings in the LA and San Diego areas for the month of September. I'm also going to be at the Stumptown Comicsfest in Portland the last weekend in Sept with plenty of copies of the book.

JULY 12, 2007--TONIGHT!!! LANDLORD JIM'S (1546 BROADWAY, DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO, CA--PRESENTS AN ART SHOW LIKE NO OTHER!!!

JULY 9, 2007--Thursday 12th, 2007 is just a few days away!--Free artwork, live painting, killer music, and drinks so stiff your grandpa might be proud enough to drink with you. Also, eBay auctions and other rants...

That's right, this Thursday is the opening reception of my show at the coolest fuckin' bar in San Diego--Landlord Jim's! (1546 Broadway, downtown San Diego)--get ready for some of the coolest live painting and artwork you'll see in this city. NO crappy pet portraits, NO crappy seascapes featuring crabs and dolphins, and NO picturesque scenes of the waves crashing below those overpriced homes in LaJolla, just PURE, ORIGINAL, THOUGHT-PROVOKING ARTWORK!! The owner Sarah was nice enough to give me all of the walls to decorate so get ready for an all out assault on your senses!! I'll also be painting live in order to give you a look into the mind and the process of my artwork. There will be a sign up sheet for my mailing list--sign it and you'll be in the drawing to win one of two pieces of free artwork! See you there...

eBay auctions have been a success--I've unloaded over 65 pages of artwork from my books and more to come. Also, if you want a specific commission, don't be shy, I just bought a condo and need the money, haha! Drop a line to sean@industriacide.com.

My phone across Amerika to all of those hard working comic store owners, who really go against the odds to provide a cool place to buy comics and hang out, as well as providing us with events and signings, allowing us to meet our favorite creators--is going well. My buddy Robert is doing the calling and the reception is killer! Thanks to all of those I've written to, that have followed up to let me know they would be supporting my book. And fuck you to comic store owner Phil B.--don't waste the worlds time with your shitty, poorly written emails. To the rest of you, thanks for supporting Amerikas small business economy and the best of luck to you in the future.

JULY 4, 2007--HAPPY 4TH (America, Fuck Yeah!), EBAY ART, RORSCHACH FORUMS...

Happy 4th--time for no work and excessive drinking so cheers to you! In the news, I uploaded a ton of artwork to eBay for auction, most of it "industriacide" art--more on the way. Also, head on over to www.rorschachentertainment.com and hop into the forum. I've got my own room now, so feel free to drop a line about any topic you wish we'll see where it goes.

JULY 1, 2007--RORSCHACH ENT. FORUM, MORE ART FOR SALE ON THE WAY, DISNEYLAND, ONE WEEK UNTIL ART OPENING!

Head on over to www.rorschachentertainment.com and click on the "community" link--we've got a new forum up and running where you can divulge your deepest secrets, drug induced experiences, or maybe a nice word or two about our books.

The eBay auctions have been a success--many of you have written in requesting artwork outside of the auctions so I'll be updating the commission page with all of the art I have available, and will be adding more auctions to eBay in the future. I don't have an eBay store so just do a search for Sean Dietrich.

Just got back from Disneyland with my parents (everyone needs to hang out with their moms and dads every so often!) and siblings--so there!, I do go do normal stuff once in a while. That fuckin' "It's A Small World" ride is pure fuckin' Satanism, though.

JUNE 23, 2007--NEW ADS UP, "MESS" IN PREVIEWS NEXT WEEK, EBAY AUCTIONS, BUY ART SECTION...

LOT'S OF STUFF GOING ON IN PREPARATION FOR THE RELEASE OF "MESS". I've added some events to the "LIVE" section of this site reflecting my events for the month of July--my art opening at Landlord Jim's on the 12th and the Honey Bee Hive Vinyl Elements party on the 14th. Onto the news...

New ads are now running on Deviant Art, Gothic Beauty magazine (non-comic site advertising), and about ten of their affiliate sites.

THE BIG NEWS IS THAT NEXT WEEK JUNE 27TH IS WHEN THE PREVIEWS MAGAZINE hits stands which will contain the "MESS" order form etc. I'll post the page number and order code when I know what it is. We also have a half page ad in Previews featuring our main guy Vincent. I ask that everyone please go to your local store and order a copy or two, or hell even a few hundred and then wallpaper your bathroom with them. This is very important for any independent book to get decent numbers with Diamond Distribution--it helps get other books in there in the future.

I'VE ALSO PLACED SOME ARTWORK ON EBAY FOR AUCTION. I'll be adding artwork on a regular basis now from all of my books as well as live paintings, and other non-comic artwork. I've also added a "Buy Art" section to this site. If you want to purchase any of the artwork in my books, just email me at sean@industriacide.com and I can let you know if I have it still, or if it's been sold. I'm also available for commissions, but I don't do portraits--I've spent my art life making sure I distort the world as much as possible.

JUNE 10, 2007--SALE over at Rorschach Entertainment on all books, Live painting this Thursday, and eBay artwork auctions.

Head over to www.rorschachentertainment.com for a 33% off sale until the end of June. You can pick up all my books and check out some of the other cool books James publishes.

This Thursday, June 14, 2007 I'll be live painting at Landlord Jim's from 9pm - close. The address is 1546 Broadway, San Diego, CA. I'll also be having an art show for the month of July here from the 19th until August 9th, encompassing the San Diego Comic Con days. More details on that as it gets confirmed, live painting dates etc.

Also going to be putting some artwork up on eBay this week. Tested some last week--went well, so what the hell I'll be uploading artwork spanning all of my printed books and some other non-comic artwork.

Getting ready for the release of "MESS" as well--artshows, perhaps a contest--I'll be working out the details and as of the first week of July it's game fucking on for promoting another sick and twisted nugget of my imagination. Enjoy!

JUNE 1, 2007--"Super Con this weekend...

If you are in the San Jose area and/or planning to attend SuperCon, stop on by and say hey. I'll have copies of my new book "MESS" with the convention cover, as well as all of my other books, prints etc. I'm also going to have original artwork for sale. I'll be at the Rorschach Entertainment booth--we are in the artists alley at booths 22 & 23. So, see you there!

MAY 21, 2007--"Aubergine, "Mess", and "Super-Con"...

I want to thank everyone who showed up last Thursday at Aubergine in San Diego for their 3rd birthday party. The staff was cool--kept me with drink in hand at all times! Sold tons of art and met some pretty cool people. Thanks to Dennis-Michael for setting up the gig for me and to Ruth, the GM of the club, for having me.

MESS is coming along nicely--working on the 4 page mini story right now. It's called "Percol-hate", and it's roughly about a wife who doesn't let her hubby drink coffee in the morning so the coffee grounds conspire to abduct her and brew her up piece by piece as revenge for throwing away their friends before they could be brewed.

Also, I'm going to be at the Super Con in San Jose, CA next week June 2 - 3. We'll have some more convention edition covers of "MESS", brand new "Fervor" prints of the front cover, all of my other books and I'll be having some specials on original artwork. My publisher will be there so come on by and throw shit at him--he's into that kinda thing. The con website is www.super-con.com. Hope to see you there!

MAY 15, 2007--"MESS" gets picked up by Diamond and live paintings...

That's right, those boys over at Diamond decided to give ol' Sean and Rorschach Entertainment a chance to meet the benchmark yet again with the decision to pick up "MESS" for the JULY issue of PREVIEWS. I'll send out an official press release as it gets closer to the date.

Two live painting events if you're in the San Diego area this week:

THURSDAY, MAY 17, 2007--AUBERGINE (500 4th Ave) is having their 3 yr anniversary party. This is an invite only party, but I thought I'd mention it anyways. I'll post the artwork after the show on this site.

SATURDAY, MAY 19, 2007--UNDERGROUND IS DEAD! Very cool party from 9pm - 4am featuring some of the coolest DJ's from the area. For info and directions drop an email to undergroundisdead@gmail.com and they will be happy to let you know where the party is.

Also, started to upload the thumbs for my artwork (under the "ART" section for those who can't figure that one out.)

APRIL 17, 2007

Yes, yes, I know I'm competing with the release of the new NINE INCH NAILS release of "Year Zero"--which I'm listening to right now--but my new site is here, with the exception of a few things. Artwork will be uploaded to the site over the next few days so on to the news...

TWO NEW BOOKS "CATALEPSY" AND "MESS" RELEASE!...

That's right, I've got two new books out, and they're just as messed up as all my others, so don't think for one minute I'm righting my wrongs. Under the covers below are descriptions of each one and the appropriate company that's publishing them.

T"MESS" from Rorschach Entertainment (available to order at www.rorschachentertainment.com) is about...

Vincent is a dumpster baby born of a mentally challenged woman and a pill popping orderly. Besides this and the fact that he's physically deformed with 4 foot long arms and 1 foot long legs, he's the best bar piano player/tv commercial jingle singer out there. After 25 years of playing piano at the same bar her leaves for home on what he thinks is a typical night. Shots ring out--that land Vincent in the hospital--and so does the realization that he's never had his own audience to hear his songs--the bar he plays at hides him behind a curtain because of his deformities. His only comfort lies within the whiskey bottle and conversations with a beautiful waitress who gives him the shoulder to lean on. With the help of the detective that found him in the trash so many years ago, he sets out to fake his own death in order to achieve success.hat

""CATALEPSY" from 215ink (available to order at www.215ink.com) is about...

a man named Otto who is flushed out of an airplane toilet only to be caught by "night" and set down outside a New Orleans-esque town. He then embarks on a journey that leads him through some life affirming encounters with barpatrons, newspaper boys, Mother Nature trying to become a stripper, and a slew of other characters who, the only thing they have in common, is that they blow their heads off after meeting Otto. In the end, after realizing this vision is just a flash of light before death, Otto realizes the truth about the Luftwaffe pilot sitting next to him on the plane...

STONE ARCH BOOKS RELEASES "HUNTER'S MOON" WITH ART BY SEAN DIETRICH...

That's right, and ALL AGES book that I illustrated. This fine book that you can actually read with your kids without the possibility that they grow up to murder you is available at book stores everywhere, and online through retailers such as WalMart, Amazon, Overstock.com and Barnes and Nobles (as well as in their stores)

LIVE PAINTING EVENTS IN SAN DIEGO, CA

If you are in the San Diego, Ca area I do live painting at Landlord Jim's (1546 Broadway) on the second Thursday of every month. I've got other events lined up--I'll be adding a "Live Events" section to the site as well. Here's some examples from past live events...
